These athletes brought the FIRE 🔥

It’s fair to say Atos DOMINATED this year’s ADCC.

In one of his most dominant performances to date, Kaynan Duarte secured Double Gold 🥇🥇 (-99KG and Absolute).

As always, Rafaela Guedes (+65kg) 🥇 showed up to WIN. She brought the fire in her division and I’m so proud of her and the hard work she put in throughout the camp.

Adele Fornarino🥇🥇 (-55kg and Absolute) also had an incredible run. She became the first Female Absolute Champion since 2007 👀

I'm also including Felipe Pena (+99KG) in this roster of Atos athletes 🥇

Pena did his full ADCC camp with us at Atos HQ.

It’s kind of crazy… We used to be rivals and now I’m proud to consider him a friend and teammate.

Jiu-Jitsu and grappling are growing at a phenomenal pace.

Weekends like the past one will keep accelerating this growth.

I’m so proud to be leading this team of amazing champions.

The systems of Jiu-Jitsu that we’ve been developing and implementing are incredibly effective...

As our competitors prove time after time.

Our athletes have been creating masterclass courses over the past few years that we host on Atos BJJ On Demand.

(These courses are separate from our platform subscription.)

Because Atos HQ took back 60% of the medals at ADCC this weekend… (six gold medals from ten divisions!)

ALL of our masterclass courses will be available at 60% off until next Monday, 26 August, at midnight (PT) with the code CHAMPION.

60% off is more than we ever reduce these courses…

But this is an incredible achievement for my team and I want to celebrate it with you.

To take advantage of this, select the course you want on our products page: https://live.atosbjjondemand.com/products

Then enter the code CHAMPION at the checkout.

And make sure the discount is applied before purchasing.

Again, the link to our courses is: https://live.atosbjjondemand.com/products

Oss,
Andre

P.S. Feel free to use this code CHAMPION multiple times.

You can use it on as many courses as you’d like.

The only catch is that you have to buy each course separately with the code (we’re currently working on building a better checkout experience)

This week we're celebrating our 14th anniversary at the academy. I remember when I got to San Diego in 2010… We officially opened the gym in September. Great things happen to me in September. Maybe it’s because it’s my birthday month! I remember I used to teach only three times a week – Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday. In the beginning, there were like only ten people at the gym – not even that. Then little by little, we started increasing the number of students. The gym started really blowing...

Hélio Gracie

Do you know the story behind the origins of modern Jiu-Jitsu? The legend goes that Hélio Gracie – the man who created the system of Jiu-Jitsu we train today – suffered a lot of illnesses when he was young. This made training more difficult for Hélio than for his brothers. He spent much of his time watching his brother Carlos teach. But he couldn’t train at the same intensity. One day Carlos didn’t show up for class at the expected time. So Carlos’s students were left waiting for him to show...

Kade Roots Uchi Mata

Kade Ruotolo VS. Andrew Tackett was the most exciting match at CJI. Maybe even the most exciting Jiu-Jitsu match of all time. There are so many comments online of people saying that if they had to introduce their friends to Jiu-Jitsu, THIS would be the one video they would show them. So I wanted to dive deeper into one really incredible moment from the match. (Actually, I’ve been doing this for a few of the best fights from Team Atos on our online platform. See my "P.S.") This was the moment...
